Beauty queens

that eat well

Welcome to Crazy Caterpillar

'Well, it's no use your talking about waking him," said Tweedledum, "when you're only one of the things in his dream. You know very well you're not real."
"I am real!" said Alice, and began to cry.
"You won't make yourself a bit realer by crying," Tweedledee remarked: "there's nothing to cry about."
"If I wasn't real," Alice said--half laughing through her tears, it all seemed so ridiculous--"I shouldn't be able to cry."
"I hope you don't think those are real tears?" Tweedledee interrupted in a tone of great contempt.

- Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

And so it goes for most of us who unwittingly step into the nether world where all that is good is suddenly bad, where hunger and food denote weakness and greed, and where death is yearned for and flesh is weak. It is too easy to step through this looking glass into a Bizarro, backwards world. Coming back is the challenge, however. For many of us, we were introduced to the world of eating disorders through innocent dieting. What, at first, was a "health kick" quickly transformed to a world of pain that we, ourselves, are trying to understand.

Alice came to a fork in the road.
"Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then,” said the cat, "it does not matter."

You are at a crossroads of sorts.

Enter through this door and choose one path, the lesser traveled sort, or look for that road named Pro-Ana.

Though that road may be far more used, it will take your life away, slowly and painfully.

Here, we do not allow members to trade tricks and tips in order to get sicker--we only share tips that will enhance your well-being. This place can be your home, your safe sanctuary, where you are understood and supported. We already know how to be sick, and do not need each other's help in getting sicker. What we lack is understanding support. Recovery is encouraged, though not forced. I do hope you choose this path toward happiness and health rather than that path that, statistically, often leads to demise.
